Pleasant Hill is a growing community in northeast Cass County and southeast Jackson County. With a population of 8,777 the City of Pleasant Hill has so much to offer to our citizens and visitors. The Missouri State Legislature adopted the charter for the City on March 14, 1859, forming Pleasant Hill as a Special Charter form of government. The City is governed by a Mayor, three elected Councilmembers by precinct and a Councilmember at large representing the whole City, each of which are two year terms. We’ll still have many of your favorite traditions, including choir and dance studio performances, cookies and photos with Santa, food trucks, vendors and more, but we want to know what could make this year’s event even more magical!
