An exciting milestone for Missouri charter schools🎉

MCPSA is proud to announce the launch of the Heartland Facilities Fund, Missouri, a $75M revolving loan fund providing low-cost, long-term facility financing for high-impact public charter schools across the state.

This partnership with the Equitable Facilities Fund (EFF), made possible by the State of Missouri, is designed to expand access to affordable facilities financing and is projected to save schools about $150,000 per year.

Labels don’t define students and they shouldn’t define schools either👏

In this guest commentary, Sean Stalling, Executive Director of DeLaSalle Education Center, writes that while the school has been labeled an “alternative school,” that label does not reflect who they are or what students are achieving. Progress has come from how they serve students, not who they serve.
