Congratulations to the Northern Platte County Progressives they invited me to join them for their first meeting in Dearborn, Missouri. We discussed energy costs, corruption in government, our schools, our law enforcement needs… I was glad to be a part of it.

Great day meeting voters in Platte County on Sunday, when we went out, knocking our doors and spreading the good word about the upcoming elections. Thank you Tester’s local 955 Tracey Steele from Missouri, Hans Peter candidate for County clerk and all the volunteers who paid Sunday possible.

Democracy requires transparency. Surveillance systems require scrutiny. The public deserves to know what data is being collected.

It was a great time celebrating Lovelle Holloway’s first book publication while raising money for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. What a wonderful event Friday night. Fun and inspiring night at Riss Lake.

There are generally three ways to vote: absentee (aka "mail-in voting" or "vote by mail"), early or on election day. If you would like to vote absentee you may need to take action soon.

(1) Missouri Absentee Mail Voting Rules
- Absence on Election Day from the jurisdiction of the election authority in which I am registered.
- Incapacity or confinement due to illness or physical disability on election day, including a person who is primarily responsible for the physical care of someone who is incapacitated or confined due to illness or disability and resides at the same address.
- Religious belief or practice.
- Employment as an election authority or by an election authority at a location other than my polling place; a first responder, a health care worker; or a member of law enforcement.
- Incarceration, although I have retained all the necessary qualifications for voting.
- Certified participation in the address confidentiality program established under sections 589.660 to 589.681 because of safety concerns.
