Good afternoon everyone!! We hope you all are having a wonderful holiday weekend! We have a few updates for the next couple of weeks.

September 7th- Labor Day- No school!

September 10th- Grandparents Day Tea Party- times were sent out. Let us know if you didn't get your tea time.

Looking ahead:
September 14th- 1st day of afterschool
September 16th- Jump-a-thon Fundraiser
September 18th- Service Personnel Appreciation Day

JBE successes this week:

Our PreK students had their first week and it went very well!!!

7 positive behavior slips

2nd grade won the attendance spirit stick again!!! They had a 99% attendance rate! Way to go 2nd grade!

Overall attendance rate was 97%. Chronic absent rate was 4%.

Our 5 star winners were:

Kindergarten- Acelynn Leach
1st grade- Willa Lyons
2nd grade- Austin Bennett
3rd grade- Bethany Jennings
4th grade- Freya Stoner
5th grade- Damian Johnson

Good afternoon everyone! We hope everyone is having a great weekend. Our menu for both breakfast and lunch will be switched tomorrow. We will be serving Tuesday's menu on Monday and Monday's on Tuesday. Either way, our food will be wonderful, thanks to our amazing cook, Donna Basham!
Here are a few updates for the next two weeks:

August 31st- PreK begins!!! We are so excited to see them!!
September 7th- Labor day. No school!
September 10th- Grandparents day Tea Party. Please RSVP if you haven't yet!

Shout out to Sunset Berry Farm and our own amazing Communities in Schools person, Joy Bowling. All of us are coming home with fresh beans and fresh corn!

JBE successes for the week!

First off, we survived the 1st week of school, full moon and all!!

Second, we welcomed three new amazing educators to our staff which are Emily Hicks- special education teacher, Jesse Medley- kindergarten aide, and Cheyenne Boone- PreK aide.

2nd grade won the attendance spirit stick with 100% attendance rate.

Overall attendance rate was 97% and chronic absence rate was 5%.

We had 14 positive behavior referrals.

Our 5 star winners for following all five HEART traits were:
Kindergarten- Eli Martin
1st grade- Briggston Petrey
2nd grade- Braelynn Anderson
3rd grade- Waylon Presley
4th grade- Luna Ayers
5th grade- Rylee Forbes

We presented our data last night at the board meeting and we just wanted to share our slides for all of our parents and community! We are so proud of our school!!!!! We are going to keep growing and achieving as a team this year!!! Thank you for all that you do to help us achieve our goals!
