Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Four States Ronald McDonald House of the Four States provides a “home away from home” for families of ill children in hospitals. Our 14,000 sq. It’s more than a building.

Ronald McDonald Family Room at Mercy Hospital Joplin offers families a place to rest and regroup within the walls of the hospital. ft facility provides guests with a large bedroom and private bath, two large family rooms, one with a self-contained children’s play area, kitchen and laundry facilities, a chapel, and outdoor play area and a patio garden area. Families also have access to hot meals,

which are provided by local restaurants, churches and volunteers, transportation to and from the hospital, computer workstations with internet access, and much more. Ronald McDonald House is more than a place to stay. It is a temporary affordable home where families and their children receive the support from other families and volunteers during a time of stress within a family. Ronald McDonald House is a tax exempt, nonprofit organization established as a 501c3. Donations are tax deductible. All monies needed to operate the program are derived through individual and/or corporate donations.
