The Friends of the Jonesville Public Library was founded in 2004 and reorganized in January 2019. The group shares a common interest in commitment to improving library services. On a small scale the group has sponsored programs and individuals have volunteered to work at the library. The ultimate goal and the main purpose in reorganizing the group is to spearhead a project that will eventually g
ive the library a much needed larger facility. The Friends Group is dedicated to raising funds and find ways to build a new library. The friends meet on the second Thursday of every month at the library. Each and every member is a valuable resource to the library no matter how large or small their involvement with the group may be. Membership dues of $5.00 per person are collected annually as a way to maintain an updated list of active members.
