With severe storms expected across the Joliet area, I want to remind residents to take a few minutes to check the storm drains near your home. If you see large debris like branches, trash, or leaves blocking them, clearing it away can help prevent street flooding for you and your neighbors.

Also remember to keep your pets in mind during severe weather and make sure they have a safe place indoors.

Small actions like this can make a big difference during heavy rain. Let’s all do our part to keep Joliet safe. 🌧️🐾

🇺🇸 Happy 250th Birthday to the United States Marine Corps! 🇺🇸
Today we celebrate 250 years of honor, courage, and commitment - the values that make the Marine Corps one of the greatest fighting forces in the world.
A special shout-out to my older brother, a proud retired Marine, whose service and dedication continue to inspire me every day. Thank you to him and to all Marines, past, present, and future, for your sacrifice and unwavering love for this country.
Semper Fi and Happy Birthday, Marines! 🎖️🇺🇸

🚨Joliet Police Department Annual Holiday Food Drive: Patrol for Hunger 2025🚨

The Joliet Police Department is proud to once again partner with the The Salvation Army Joliet Corps Community Center for our annual holiday food drive: Patrol for Hunger!

This holiday season from November 10th through December 19th, we are collecting non-perishable food items to help Joliet area individuals and families in need. Every food donation helps to make a very real difference right here in our community!

As in past years, we are seeking Joliet-area businesses to join us by hosting a food collection box at your location! Becoming a collection site is an easy and meaningful way to give back and support families this holiday season.

If your business would like to participate, please contact Sgt. English at [email protected] or by calling (815)724-3202 and we'll be happy to supply a collection box and signage.

We can all work together to ensure no one in Joliet goes hungry this holiday season!!
