Notice: Water service interruption scheduled for Peyton Street, Owens Street, and Dugan Street from 11:30 AM to approximately 3:00 PM due to a pipe repair. A boil water advisory will be in effect until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Update: bridge has been repaired and all walking trails are open.

Due to the storm on Sunday night, several trees have fallen in the park, and the bridge adjacent to the boys high school field will be closed for the next few days. Individuals planning to utilize the trail are advised to take an alternate route.

Join the celebration at Mayor Edwards 12th Annual Easter in the Park on Good Friday, April 3rd! We would like to invite your church to be part of this fun! We especially welcome booths to have information regarding youth group activities and church information. We encourage each booth to have a game with small prizes. Let's come together to make this a memorable day! ✝️

Egg hunts, featuring 1,000 eggs per hunt, will be organized according to age groups:
10:00 - Ages 0-2
10:30 - Ages 3-4
11:00 - Ages 5-6
11:30 - Ages 7-8
12:00 - Ages 9-10
12:30 - Senior Citizens & special needs.

Please contact Mayor Edwards through Facebook or call Town Hall (318-992-2148) to put your church, organization or group on the booth list.

Lulu's Waterslides & Jumpers will be there with free jumpers and free mini snow-cones. LuLu’s food truck will offer an assortment of food you can purchase for a delicious lunch.
