🙌You’re invited to an evening of prayer, meaningful conversation, and cultural celebration on September 15!
On the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows and the first day of Hispanic Heritage Month, Catholic Charities is hosting An Evening of Welcome: Prayer & Conversation, where we will come together to celebrate our shared faith, learn from one another, and reflect on the dignity of our immigrant and refugee neighbors.
Ryan Hudnall, Executive Director of Della Lamb Community Services, will join us as part of his Walk for Welcome across Missouri, raising awareness of the experiences and stories of immigrants and refugees. https://www.dellalamb.org/walk/
Together, we will pray in solidarity with The Dorothea Project’s Our Lady of Sorrows Witness for Our Immigrant Neighbors in Washington, D.C., hear from immigrants and community leaders, and share in a convivio with pupusas and tamales as we celebrate the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month. 🙏🫔
