“My love for dance started at the age of three, and over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to explore many different styles and avenues within the dance world. My first experience with NDADD was as a Wachter Danzador, which eventually led me to four years as a Varsity Demonette at Bismarck High School, where I served as captain for two years. Some of my favorite memories from those years were meeting dancers from other schools and sharing the same love and passion for dance.
After high school, I attended NDSU, earning my degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology, while also dancing for four years and serving as captain for two. Just when I thought my competitive dance days were behind me, I had the incredible opportunity to become a Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader for five years, including serving as choreography lead for two.
Today, I’m finishing school to become a Physical Therapist Assistant and continue to find ways to stay connected to the dance community through pop-up dance classes, choreography, and working with teams. I love creating spaces where dancers feel encouraged, supported, and inspired to grow while celebrating the community and passion that makes dance so special. NDADD has been a meaningful part of my journey, and I’m grateful to now have the opportunity to give back to the dance community that gave me so much.” ✨🖤🪩
