Congratulations to Anniston PD’s Corporal Bush!

Corporal Bush has been chosen as Officer of the Year.

He has been a valued member of the Anniston Police Department for four years. Throughout his time with the department, he has evolved into a skilled and versatile police officer. His commitment to his profession is evident in the 100% effort he dedicates to his assigned responsibilities. He is particularly passionate about combating drug-related crimes in Anniston, which motivated him to join the department’s Street Crimes unit.

Recognizing the need for a K9 handler, he proactively sought out this role. Through his research, he discovered Hurricane Creek K9, a Georgia-based organization that rescues and trains dogs for law enforcement use. Thanks to his early achievements as a K9 handler and the program's affordability, he played a key role in establishing the largest K9 program in Anniston's history. Today, there are six K9 teams in operation, a testament to Bush’s dedication, research, and strong work ethic. He frequently assists others by providing training support as well.
