A fun Landon run-in at the Heart Walk this morning! 🧡❤️

Two of our JLCP teachers ran into Superintendent Dr. Bernier while coming together to support such a meaningful cause. It was a great morning for our Landon Lions! 🦁

A big congratulations to our JLCP Speech and Debate Team! 🧡

Our students competed in the FCDI Northeast Regional Qualifier #1 at Keystone Heights Jr.-Sr. High School and brought home some outstanding results:

🥇 Akul P. — Ronald Reagan Presidential Debate, 1st Place
🥈 Julia N. — Impromptu, 2nd Place
🥇 Yuvan B. — Extemporaneous Debate, 1st Place
🥉 Saanvi M. — Extemporaneous Debate, 3rd Place
🥈 Loshini D. — Extemporaneous Speaking, 2nd Place
🥇 Ayush Reddy T. — Extemporaneous Speaking, 1st Place
🥉 Purva P. — Lincoln Douglas Debate, 3rd Place

It takes a lot of preparation (and courage) to get up and speak or debate in front of others. We’re proud of all our students who took on that challenge and represented Landon. Help us congratulate them! 👏

There’s still time to grab a box and help support Julia Landon! Our World’s Finest Chocolate fundraiser wraps up Friday, October 2nd, so don’t miss your chance to participate.

🎭 FALL COMEDY IS COMING TO JLCP!

The JLCP Theatre Program is excited to present our Fall Comedy:

FAST FOOD by Tracy Wells | Friday, November 13th | 6:30 PM

Come out and support our amazing cast and crew as they take the stage! This is our theatre program’s first production in a while, and we would love to have our JLCP family there to cheer them on. World’s Finest Chocolate is officially underway! 🍫

Our Landon Lions are working toward a $15,000 fundraising goal, with some pretty sweet rewards along the way!

Students must have parent/guardian permission before checking out a box of chocolate. Each box contains $80 worth of chocolate, and students can earn rewards as they sell.

Important Dates:
Last chocolate checkout: October 2
All money due: October 9

Applications are now open for the JLCP Robotics Team! 🤖⚙️

Students interested in trying out must complete both requirements by the end of the school day on Monday, September 21st:

✅ Complete the Robotics Form in the Full School TEAMS
✅ Turn in a signed permission slip to Mr. Nye or Mr. Geary

Tryouts will be Tuesday, September 22nd after school until 5:00 PM.

Robotics is about much more than building with LEGO pieces - students will design, program, research, problem-solve, collaborate, and prepare for competition!
