Today we celebrate the life of one of the greats but there will be a hole in our souls for a lifetime. Our thoughts are with the entire WyDaho community as we all grieve the enormous loss of our friend, Spencer Morton. Our deepest condolences go out to his family and gang especially.

Our community was rocked this week by the sudden loss of our dear friend and owner of , Spencer Morton. Spencer has been a fixture at Orvis Jackson Hole and facilitated many Orvis fly fishing schools over the years. His personality was infectious, and his love for teaching allowed thousands to share his joy of fly fishing. They just don’t make people better than Spencer. His presence will be sorely missed here at the store. All of our love and support go out to his family and friends at this time. We will be closed tomorrow, May 16th to allow staff to attend his memorial. Follow the link in the bio if you would like to support Spencer’s family and donate to his children’s education trust.

Hey gang! I apologize for slacking on this account and reposting your adventures. I was on a much needed break with my UWOTF admin team. I also happened to catch a fish of a lifetime, a 20.3 # lahontan cutty.

This last year has been weird to say the least. As many of you know, I wear many hats on social media & in life. I am the social media liaison for , on the board and contribute to , a part time employee for as well as a contributor there, plus running my personal page and this page too. I’m a stay at home mom and wife to top it off. Plus a girl has to fish as often as possible too. 😏LAWD has suffered as a direct result of being a bit overcommitted and of course, Covid.

I’m not sure where to take this group and to get it back on track in real life and when everyone is comfortable to do so. I have a couple of women that have agreed to contribute so this should be a big help!

If you are interested in volunteering to make this group more than an IG page, would like to teach or host a clinic, be more involved, etc, please reach out!!

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we WADE through this transitional period.

In the meantime I’ll be working harder to check in more often to repost your tagged photos and stories and share all you rad WyDaho women!
