In part four, Chris shares more about the electrical updates and information about the new kitchen layout! Thank you to all of the volunteers who have been hard at work with this project! Together, we build the future. 🏠

In partnership with the Washington Economic Development Group, this home was relocated from Wellman to Washington. Prior to moving the home to Washington, the WEDG laid a new concrete foundation with a basement and completed the exterior work, which included new siding, gutters, concrete for the driveway and walkways.💙

Our construction team, along with some great volunteers, have been hard at work with our Washington Home Remodel project! In this video, Chris shares the history of the living room and utilities. He also discusses what repairs have been made in this area of the home!

Volunteers broke ground Saturday for Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity’s 16th Woman Build, honoring a retired University of Iowa nursing professor.

This week, we are kicking off our summer build season with two new projects in the Iowa City area, in partnership with Hodge Construction!

A special thank you to Mike Hodge and the Hodge Construction team for the donation of the four lots. Through this partnership, four families will be able to build and purchase affordable homes in our community. 🏠

Thank you, Washington Economic Development Group and Hills Bank, for volunteering with us at our Washington Home Remodel project! These two great crews helped with painting, reorganizing tools, helping to prepare the installation of new flooring, and so much more! We cannot thank them enough! 🏠💙
