🎉 Homecoming season has officially begun in Texas! 🎉

Mum makers from across the Lone Star State gathered on Saturday, July 12 for the 2025 Kickoff hosted by Houston Homecoming Mum Makers and DFW N. Texas Homecoming Mum Makers Facebook groups. Over 100 attendees enjoyed a vendor expo, classes, and a Disney/fantasy-themed fashion show and pageant! 👑✨

So we did a thing today!!! Houston Homecoming Mum Makers held a gathering today in Cypress and for the second year in a row, I participated in the fashion show. Last year was Texas theme and i won 3rd place with my Dr pepper mum. This year the theme was Disney/Fantasy. Makenna & Corynne (yes you read that right, she helped too) helped with so much this year. Main mum was to be Triple Mum in a heart shape. A coordinating garter was to be a single flower. This year Sully and Mike Wazowski were the entries for Brazos Valley Homecoming. Sully didn’t place but Mike Wazowski brought home 2nd place in the garter division!!!! I’ll include some pictures of other entries but they are not identified by the creater.
