Happy Thanksgiving, family! 🧡🍂

Today, the BigHomie Foundation is honored to serve Thanksgiving meals at our usual location. Around this time last year, we were just getting started… and now, because of you, we’re able to feed and support even more people in our city.

We are deeply thankful for the love this community continues to show, your donations, your time, your hearts, and your willingness to show up for families who need it most. Every warm plate, every smile, every act of kindness today is possible because our community truly cares.

✨ A Year of Growth, Gratitude & Giving ✨

Around this time last year, we were a brand-new nonprofit organization, stepping out on faith and serving meals to just about 100 people a week. We were fresh, eager, and determined to make an impact in our community.

Today, one year later, we are humbled and grateful to share that we now serve over 250 people each week, ensuring that anyone who is hungry can count on a warm meal and a full belly. ❤️

This growth wouldn’t be possible without YOU, our community, our donors, and our amazing volunteers who continue to show up with open hearts and helping hands. Thank you for every contribution, every shared post, every donation, and every hour spent serving beside us. You are truly the heartbeat of this mission.

As we move into the holiday season, we are still collecting Thanksgiving items and winter necessities to support our neighbors in need. We will also be serving a full Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving Day, making sure that no one is left out and everyone has a plate to enjoy for the holiday.

Today we celebrate not just another year of life, but a milestone birthday for the man who started it all. For the past year, Anthony has poured his heart, his time, and his hands into serving our community, feeding the homeless, showing up for families in need, and proving that love in action can change lives.

What started as one man with a camera, a vision, and a mission to give back… has grown into a movement.
A year later, Big Homie Foundation is feeding more people, inspiring more hearts, and creating real impact because of his dedication.

Family — we’re officially walking into winter season, and that means our brothers and sisters on the streets need us more than ever. 🥶

The BigHomie Foundation is calling on our community to come together once again and help us gather:

🌟 Serving Sunday — 1 YEAR STRONG! 🌟

Family, today is extra special. 💛 One year ago, we started a simple mission: to feed the hungry, serve our community, and spread love right here in downtown Indianapolis.

Today makes 1 full year of Serving Sundays, and in that time, we’ve served well over 5,000 plates, handed out countless essentials, and most importantly, poured hope, warmth, and love into the hearts of so many beautiful souls. 🙏🏽

We’ll be downtown today at our usual spot, Washington & Alabama / Presidential Park — starting at 12PM until supplies run out. 🍽️

As we continue this journey, we’re asking for our usual food donations and winter necessities (coats, gloves, socks, hats, blankets, hygiene items, etc.). Every single contribution goes directly to those in need. ❤️

As we move into these colder months, the temperatures are dropping fast and our people outside are feeling it. 🥶 We’re now in urgent need of:

🍲 BigHomie Foundation – Serving Sunday

Hey family! 💛
We’re back this Sunday at 12PM, serving downtown Indianapolis at the corner of Washington & Alabama (Presidential Park)!

As the weather starts getting chilly, we’re asking everyone to join us in keeping our community fed and warm. If you’re able, please bring a soup, chili, or any warm meal to help us spread love through comfort food this week.

We’re also collecting donations of:
🧣 Blankets
🧤 Gloves
🧦 Socks
🧢 Hats
🍞 Non-perishable food items
🧼 Hygiene products

Every little bit helps us make a big impact.

We are still accepting all donations such as snacks, water, utensils, hot food, non perishable items, clothing, blankets and coats for our cold season coming up, for tomorrow!

Family, we are just three days away from our Serving Sunday starting at 12 PM at the same location: Downtown on Washington and Alabama Presidential Park.

PLEASE feel free, to bring any food item or drink to help contribute to our serving tables. Nothing is too small as it helps us make sure each person gets fed!

We are still collecting donations such as clothing, non-perishable items, hygiene necessities, socks, winter gloves, and blankets as we prepare for the cold season. 🧤🧥

✨ We are also hosting a COAT DRIVE and are collecting coats for all ages and genders.
