This is what a strong community and leadership looks like!

Community means showing up when our neighbors need us.

That’s our CFO lending a hand with relief efforts in Ravenswood today, helping shuttle families to Broad Ripple Park and the Trustee’s Office to access needed support.

Thank you, Becky, for stepping up and serving our community!

This referendum renewal maintains the existing $0.2500 rate approved by voters in 2020. Most Indiana districts seeking a referendum in November 2026 are asking for an increased rate — we are not.

We invite you to use the tax estimator on the district's website to better understand how the proposed referendum renewal may affect your property taxes:https://www.msdwt.k12.in.us/understand-tax-bill

The report concludes that Indiana leadership is one of the “nation’s leading drivers of publicly funded private education” and notes a lack of oversight and accountability for the schools receiving that funding. Researchers say this directly results in disinvestment in public schools.

The Washington Township Schools Operating Referendum renewal is on the ballot on November 3, and we need every voter to know what is at stake.

We’re raising funds to educate our neighbors, register voters, and turn out YES votes across our community. This is NOT a new tax — it is a renewal of the funding that keeps our classrooms resourced, our teachers supported, and our Panthers thriving.

Will you make a gift today to help us protect our progress? Every dollar goes directly to protecting our schools.

We need all hands on deck for this campaign to ensure the referendum renewal passes on November 3. If a referendum is not approved or renewed, the district may need to reduce staff, increase class sizes, cut programs and services.

We only have 25 volunteers right now, and we really need 50+ to be effective in our efforts. You can text bank from home, deliver yard signs, or canvass – the time commitment is flexible and we have multiple roles to fill.
