The Henagar City Pool will be closed Saturday July 19th, and Sunday July 20th for public swim. All scheduled parties will still take place.

**Event Rescheduled**
Due to the threat of storms, the first Free Summer Movie has been rescheduled until Saturday, June 28, 2025. The movie, Moana 2, will begin at 8:00pm. We will still have all the same activities, just on a different day! Our sponsor for the movie is Matt Hale, Edward Jones Financial Advisor, and our meal sponsor is Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. Be sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket! We will see you on June 28th!!

This Saturday, June 7th, we will be showing the first movie in our Free Summer Movie Series, Moana 2. Our generous sponsor for the movie is Matt Hale, Edward Jones Financial Advisor! Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church will be providing the free food for this event! We will also have free popcorn and snow cones! Come on out (bring a lawn chair or blanket) and enjoy a free summer movie in the Henagar City Park! Movie begins at 8:00pm!

Be sure you have your calendars marked for our May on the Mountain Bluegrass Festival held in our beautiful Henagar City Park on Saturday, May 10th, 2025! We are so excited to have Rhonda Vincent to headline this event! We hope you will come out at 10:00am and enjoy a full day of amazing local artists and stay for our headline act! Other activities of the day will include a car show and food and craft vendors! Bring a lawn chair and hang out all day with us!

Have you heard? Saturday, May 10th, we will be hosting our annual May on the Mountain Bluegrass Festival in our wonderful Henagar City Park! Music will begin at 10:00am with our headliner, Rhonda Vincent, taking the stage at 4:00pm! This is a free festival that will have music, vendors, and a car show! Artists will be performing on the back of the Cabin so be sure to bring a lawn chair. Mark your calendars for another fun family festival in the Henagar City Park!

Please be aware that this Saturday, March 8, 2025, there will be construction work on the wooden bridges in the lower section of the Henagar City Park by Alabama Highway 75. This project will begin at 8:00am and end around 4:30pm depending on weather. This project is being completed by the Eagle Scout Troop. Please be aware that this project may affect access to the disc golf holes.

We had some very special visitors yesterday at the Henagar Senior Center! Members of the Henagar Junior Beta Club came by with Christmas cards and treats for our members! This was such a special treat for our group! Thank you so much for thinking of the Henagar Senior Center!!
