Today is International Firefighters’ Day, and I wanted to share a few photos of Knox Creeks family.

Sadly, two of our members, Gary Sargent and Lee Christian, are no longer with us. These men dedicated years of service to our small community and continued serving until their passing.

Today is a day to honor them, the firefighters still serving, the founding members of our department, and firefighters in communities around the world. We are grateful for the dedication, sacrifice, and service of each and every one of them.

We also encourage everyone to properly secure household trash, especially during high winds, to prevent it from being blown into the streets and creeks. Together, we can keep our community clean and beautiful!
