Our firefighters recently completed their yearly Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training, reviewing and practicing essential lifesaving skills to stay ready for emergencies.

EMTs provide pre-hospital care, arriving on scene before patients reach the hospital.
During training, our firefighters practiced:
• CPR and AED use
• Airway management
• Bleeding control (tourniquets and pressure bandages)
• Splinting fractures
• Patient assessment and vital signs
• Oxygen administration
• Basic life support

EMTs play a critical role in the first minutes of an emergency helping stabilize patients until they can be transported to the hospital.

We’re also offering a CPR training class for the public on March 28, 2026, from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
Learning CPR can help you save a life before help arrives.
