Paddle on over, the results are in!!🚣‍♀️

This year we had a great turnout for the Juniata River Cleanup in honor of Tony. With the help of 55 volunteers.... 65 tires and 1.1 tons of trash (excluding tires) were removed from the Juniata!

Join us for our 2026 Volunteer Kickoff at Melvin Lane Park in Alexandria!

We will be taking care of seedlings, mulching, and of course enjoying the wonderful spring weather. Tools, gloves, and light refreshments will be provided.

Why not branch out into something new this fall? We will be having two community tree plantings in Alexandria this November, we hope to see you there!

Come meet new people, learn about stream health, and participate in community greening. No experience necessary, tools and gloves are provided but you are welcome to bring your own!

Let’s kick these tires to the curb (responsibly)!

We are happy to announce that after two years, the tire recycling event is BACK!!

Roll on in from 8am to Noon on Saturday, September 20th to recycle your tires. We are on a first come, first serve basis. Our event is contingent on having volunteers to help with the event, so please consider volunteering!

2025 Juniata River Cleanup!

Save the date for the 2025 River Cleanup! 🛶

Join us for a fun day of cleaning up our River. Bring your own kayak or canoe, or borrow one from Rothrock Outfitters! We will have a free shuttle, lunch, t-shirts, and ice cream! 🍦

With the rain it has delayed scouting for cleanup spots, but we will keep you updated when the location has been finalized.
