Increasing potential for severe thunderstorms Thursday evening and overnight as a cold front tracks across SE Michigan. A Slight to Enhanced Risk is now in place for the potential line of severe storms. Uncertainty exists if storms will have enough instability to maintain intensity and instead could fall apart before reaching southeast Michigan or even pass to the south all together. All modes of severe weather ,including heavy rain, will be possible if it holds together. Have multiple ways to receive warnings, especially those that will wake you up overnight.
