We will never forget! 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 25 YEARS LATER: WE WILL NEVER FORGET 🇺🇸

Today marks a profound milestone. A quarter of a century has passed since September 11, 2001, a day that forever reshaped our nation, our communities, and the lives of so many.

Even twenty-five years later, the passage of time has not dimmed our memory. Today, the Germantown Police Department stands in solemn remembrance to honor the 2,977 innocent lives lost on that fateful day. We remember the immense courage of the first responders—the 343 firefighters, 71 law enforcement officers, and dozens of emergency medical personnel—who ran toward danger without hesitation. Their ultimate sacrifice embodies the truest definition of service and duty.

As we reflect on this 25th anniversary, we also look to our own community. We stand united with our brothers and sisters at the Germantown Wisconsin Fire Department and first responders everywhere, recommitting ourselves to protecting and serving Germantown with the same devotion. To those who lost loved ones, to the survivors, and to the veterans who stepped up to defend our freedom in the years that followed: you are always in our hearts.

Please join us today in a moment of silence as we remember, honor, and promise to never forget.
