To the parents who feel defeated, overwhelmed, or ignored - this is for you.
If your child has a learning disability, an EP, or documented challenges
and you were denied SSI, I want you to know this:
• A denial is not the end.
& It does not mean your child doesn't qualify.
&- It often means the paperwork, documentation, or presentation was incomplete — not that your child wasn't eligible.
I know how confusing and discouraging this process is because I've lived it.
I've spent countless hours learning how SSA evaluates child disability cases, what they look for, and where parents are often left in the dark.
