Stop asking! It will NEVER happen! ➡️

I am about to start going live and sharing stories, videos, and audio about my experiences running for Congress in CD-9.

Once again, stop asking me to endorse someone that couldn’t care less about the Black vote, LGBTQ+ rights, or equal rights and care of Texans. I couldn’t care less of the person is the Democratic nominee.

If you don’t know by now, I don’t do “Politics as usual.” Kissing the ring of a kong or an “establishment” is never my style!

As James Baldwin once said: “We can disagree and still love each other unless your disagreement is rooted in my oppression and denial of my humanity and right to exist.”

Prayers for Port Arthur, Texas… My hometown ✊🏾

Seeing what just happened hurts. It really does. An explosion. A chemical disaster. And it feels like it is always something affecting our people.

To my family and friends back home in Congressional District 14, I am praying for you. Please stay safe and take care of yourselves. This is bigger than just one moment. This is the air you are breathing. This is your health.

I ran for Congress in District 9, but everything I have ever stood for has always been rooted in places like Port Arthur. Places that raised us. Places that get overlooked. Places that keep getting hit.

We grew up around these plants. We know what comes with it. High gas prices. Cancer in our communities. And now this. It is just hard to watch.

I love my city. I love my people. And it hurts seeing home go through this again.

Just please stay safe. Check on each other. Keep your families close.

What the H-E double hockey sticks, America?! 🇺🇸

We are staring down escalating conflict with Iran.
Troops are moving.
Tensions are rising.
And people are starting to whisper the word draft again.

Meanwhile, we’re being led by a president many Americans believe is showing onset dementia.

This is not normal.
This is not leadership.

The American people deserve transparency, stability, and accountability before we are pushed into another war.

Pay attention, America.

Call Him out Council Member Edward Pollard ✊🏾

Houston Councilman Edward Pollard is raising the alarm after reports that Houston Police officers contacted federal immigration authorities during routine traffic stops and, in some cases, transported individuals to ICE custody. Pollard says these actions go beyond what the public has been told and could damage trust between police and immigrant communities. He also criticized the mayor’s response, saying Houstonians deserve clear answers and accountability.

Over the past few days, I’ve had many conversations with people asking what comes next.

What I’ve learned on this journey is that leadership isn’t about one moment or one race. It’s about continuing to show up for the community.

I trust God’s will and God’s timing in every season.

For now, I’m grateful, I’m listening, and I’m continuing the work.

Let me ask a simple question.

Can James Talarico win a Senate race in Texas without Black voters?

That’s not really a question. It’s rhetorical.

Black voters have been the backbone of the Democratic Party for generations. We organize, we mobilize, and we show up when it matters most. Yet somehow our support is often treated as optional during campaigns.

We saw similar dynamics play out around Vice President Kamala Harris, and now we are seeing it again in conversations about Jasmine Crockett.

And here is the truth many people are avoiding.

Jasmine Crockett is the most qualified candidate in this conversation. She practiced law, served in the Texas House, and now serves in Congress where she has proven herself to be one of the strongest fighters in the country. Experience matters. Being battle tested matters.

Meanwhile, Talarico taught at a charter school and then went to the Texas House.

I have already said that I will support the Democratic nominee in the general election because removing extreme Republicans from power in Texas matters. That has not changed.

But let me bring this closer to home.

In my own race for Congress in District 9, I won the Black precincts. I even won some Hispanic precincts. That did not happen by accident. It happened because I showed up, spoke directly to people, and respected the communities I was asking to lead.

So the real question becomes this:

What happens when campaigns believe they can win without the voters who have always been the backbone of the Democratic coalition?

We may be about to find out. 🤔

Over the past few days, I’ve taken time to process the outcome of this election. Like many people who pour their heart into something bigger than themselves, I’ve moved through the stages of grief. But I’ve also found clarity.

While I am not endorsing anyone in this race, I will absolutely do my part to ensure that the person leading the Democratic ticket for Senate,James Talarico, has the support needed to defeat extremism and protect our democracy.

As for the race in District 9, my opponent and I disagreed on many things during this campaign, but we did agree on one thing: the people of District 9 deserve Democratic representation. She owes me an apology for some of what took place during this election before we can truly move forward as a united front.

That said, the mission now is bigger than any one race or any one campaign.

I will personally be holding the Republican candidate accountable. The assumption that District 9 will simply be handed over is wrong.

Alex “bad built” Mealer or Briscoe “Mustache” Cain will not have the easy win that they think that they will have.

As Jasmine Crockett stated: Our democracy is worth fighting for, and the work continues.

As I prepare for my next journey, the mission is clear. The Trump Administration has to go! Alex mealer has to be stopped! Briscoe Cain has to be a figment of our imagination!

Buckle up! It’s about to be one hell of a ride! ✊🏾

Tomorrow is the last push.

I was the FIRST Democrat to enter this race for Congressional District 9. Before the endorsements. Before the mailers. Before the noise. I stepped in because I believe our community deserves more than politics as usual.

I am asking voters to look beyond the “establishment pick.”
Look beyond the astronaut.
Look beyond the OBGYN.
Look beyond the “voice of the people.” 😂

Look at the work.
Look at the fight.
Look at who has been in the streets, at the polls, knocking doors, debating Republicans publicly and winning.

I have fought for healthcare access, affordability, and civil liberties my entire career. I do not just talk about service. I live it.

There will be no watch party. I will spend tomorrow night with the people who have supported me win or lose. When I win, because I am prayerful and I believe, my day ones will lift me higher. And if the outcome is different, the same people will be there to hold me up. That is real.

People are showing out and I love it.!! 💙

The line was wrapped around the building — and I walked every section of it, even while losing my voice.

I spoke to every group. I listened. I connected.

After they voted, nearly everyone showed me their sample ballots already filled in with my name. Their notes. My push cards.

That’s not hype. That’s groundwork.

I am the youngest candidate in this race — and the most qualified.

District 9 doesn’t need politics as usual.
It needs someone who shows up.
