ROCK OF GOD PROPHETIC AND TEACHING MINISTRIES.
PATH OF THE LORD. PSALM 25:4-5. SECTION 6.
Walking in God's path does not mean the journey will be smooth and easy. The devil will throw challenges to push people out of God's path. We should remember that the path of the Lord is always narrow, and with any little error, a person may fall out of God's path.
Things that will cause someone to fall out of God's path.
1) Not trusting in the Lord enough: In God's path, there will come a time when it will look like the vision and purpose of God will never come to pass. It will seem nothing is happening or the person is wasting his time. Those who don't trust in the Lord enough will fall out of the path.
Some will lean on their own understanding. Some will try to do it in their own way. Some may think God is not fast enough and want to fast-forward the whole purpose. some will say let them help God. By doing all these things, they enter into error and fall off.
The Bible says: "Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision and make it plain on the tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time. But in the end, it will speak and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry" (Habakkuk 2:2-3).
No matter how long it takes, as long as the person is in a right standing with the Lord and trusting in the Lord, God's purpose will surely come to pass at the appointed time. No devil can stop it.
The Bible says: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart. And lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6).
2) To be continued ...
Prayer:
Father God, give me the grace to keep trusting in you in the name of Jesus Christ.
