We had a great LIFT Gathering this month. With a springtime lunch and a heartfelt message about Priorities Matter.

First Things First
Life gets busy. Between work, responsibilities, events, phones buzzing, and calendars filling up, it often feels like there just aren’t enough hours in the day. We rush from one thing to the next trying to keep up with everything and everyone.

But in the middle of all the busyness, God gently reminds us of something important: our priorities matter.

God never intended for our lives to become so full that we forget what truly matters. The two greatest gifts He has given us are our relationship with Him and our families. Yet sometimes those are the very things that get pushed aside while we focus on everything else.

In the Bible, we are reminded in Matthew 6:33,
"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you."

When we put God first, everything else begins to fall into the right place. That doesn’t mean life becomes less busy, but it means our hearts become centered on what truly matters.

Think about a family sitting around a dinner table. Phones are put away. The television is off. Everyone is talking, laughing, sharing stories about their day. In those simple moments, something beautiful happens, connection. Those are the moments that build memories and strengthen the bonds God created within families.
God designed families to support, encourage, and love one another. But those relationships require time, attention, and intention.

Spending time with God and our family doesn’t require perfection. It can be simple moments:
• A prayer together before dinner
• A short devotional in the morning
• A conversation at the end of a long day
• A moment of gratitude before bed

When we choose to give God the first part of our day and our family the best of our time, we are investing in things that last far longer than busy schedules or to-do lists.

At the end of our lives, we won’t remember most of the meetings, errands, or tasks that filled our calendars. But we will remember the love shared, the prayers spoken, and the moments spent with the people God placed in our lives.

So today, let’s pause and ask ourselves:
Am I giving my time to what truly matters?
When we place God first and family close behind, we build a life rooted in faith, love, and purpose.

Father God,
Thank You for the gift of family and the gift of time. Help us to slow down and remember what truly matters. Teach us to place You first in our lives and to cherish the people You have entrusted to us. Guide our hearts so that our days reflect Your love and our homes reflect Your peace. Thank You for the ladies of LIFT, keep us safe & strong.
Amen.

February's LIFT was all about LOVE ❤️
What is the definition of love
God is LOVE!

Anchored in God’s Unfailing Love

There are days when we feel strong in our faith — confident, hopeful, full of gratitude. And then there are days when we feel tired, uncertain, or even unworthy. But here is the beautiful truth:
God’s love does not rise and fall with our emotions.
Romans 8:38–39 reminds us:

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come… shall be able to separate us from the love of God.”
Nothing. Not our mistakes. Not our fears. Not our past. Not even our doubts. God’s love is not conditional — it is covenantal.

We live in a world where love can feel temporary. People change. Circumstances shift. Promises are broken. But God’s love is steady. Hebrews 13:8 tells us that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If He does not change, then His love does not change either.

Think about that for a moment — the Creator of the universe knows you completely and still loves you fully.

When we look at the cross, we see the ultimate picture of love. John 3:16 declares that God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. Love gives. Love sacrifices. Love pursues. Even when humanity turned away, God leaned in.

And His love isn’t just something we receive — it’s something we reflect. When we understand how deeply we are loved, it changes how we love others. We become more patient. More forgiving. More compassionate. Not because we’re perfect, but because we’re anchored in perfect love.

Maybe today you need to be reminded:
• You are not forgotten.
• You are not too far gone.
• You are not too broken.
• You are deeply, relentlessly loved.
Let that truth quiet your worries and steady your heart.

Reflection Questions:
• Where have I been questioning God’s love in my life?
• How can I show God’s love to someone who needs encouragement this week?

Prayer:
Father, thank You for loving me with an everlasting love. When I doubt, remind me. When I fall, lift me. When I forget, draw me back to the cross. Help me to walk confidently in Your love and share it generously with others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We had a great message at LIFT this month.

The True Meaning of Thankful

When we think about being thankful, our minds often go straight to what we have family, friends, a home, food on the table, maybe even a job we love. Those are wonderful blessings, and it’s good to thank God for them every day and not just at Thanksgiving.

But the true meaning of being thankful is deeper than the good things in life, it’s a heart posture that remains grateful even when life isn’t perfect.

True thankfulness isn’t based on our circumstances. It’s based on our trust, our trust that God is still working, even when we don’t understand.

The Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18,
“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
Notice that it doesn’t say for all circumstances... it says in all circumstances.

That means even in our challenges, our waiting seasons, our losses, we can still find a reason to give thanks, because God is still with us, still providing, still teaching, and still loving us through it all.

When we choose to be thankful, something shifts inside of us.
• Worry gives way to peace.
• Complaining turns into contentment.
• And we begin to see how truly blessed we are.

Being thankful doesn’t mean ignoring the hard things. It means trusting that God is greater than the hard things.

So today, take a moment to pause and reflect:
What am I truly thankful for — not just the easy blessings, but the lessons, the growth, the moments when God carried me through?
When our hearts live in gratitude, we become a reflection of God’s goodness to others. Our thankfulness brings light, hope, and encouragement to everyone around us.

Closing Prayer:
Father God, Thank You for every blessing — seen and unseen. Teach us to be thankful not just when life feels good, but even when it’s hard. Help us to recognize Your hand in every part of our story and to carry hearts full of gratitude each day. May our thankfulness remind others of Your faithfulness. And may we all have JOY every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Our LIFT Gathering always makes my heart smile...

How do you THANK God for all the Blessing in your life?

That’s such a beautiful question 💛 — and one that touches the heart of true gratitude.

There are many ways to thank God for His blessings, and it doesn’t always have to be grand or complicated. Here are a few meaningful ways:

1. Speak it out loud.
Take a quiet moment each day to simply say, “Thank You, Lord, for all You’ve done for me.” List specific things — health, family, peace, even lessons learned through hard times. Gratitude spoken is powerful.

2. Pray with a thankful heart.
You can pray something simple like:
“Father God, thank You for every blessing, seen and unseen. Thank You for Your love, protection, and grace that carries me each day. Help me never take Your goodness for granted.”

3. Live your gratitude.
The best way to thank God is to use your blessings to bless others — show kindness, lend a helping hand, encourage someone who’s struggling.

4. Praise and worship.
Sing, dance, or listen to worship music that lifts your spirit. God delights in joyful praise.

5. Reflect and remember.
Keep a gratitude journal or note in your Bible — jot down the ways you’ve seen God at work. It reminds you of His faithfulness when life gets hard.

6. Walk in obedience and trust.
When you live in a way that honors Him — following His Word and trusting His plan — that’s one of the greatest “thank you’s” you can give for Thanking God for All the Blessings in Your Life

Scripture "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Gratitude is one of the most beautiful ways we can worship God. It reminds us that every good thing — every breath, every sunrise, every moment of joy — comes from His hand.
It’s easy to thank God when everything is going right. But true gratitude is deeper — it thanks God in all circumstances, even when things are uncertain. When we choose to be thankful, we’re saying, “Lord, I trust You. I know You are working for my good.”
A thankful heart doesn’t ignore pain or struggle. Instead, it looks for God’s goodness in the middle of it. Gratitude shifts our focus from what we don’t have to what we do have — His love, His promises, and His presence.
And the beautiful thing is this: when we live with gratitude, we invite more of His joy and peace into our lives. Thankfulness is a magnet for God’s presence — it changes our attitude, strengthens our faith, and fills our hearts with hope.
Thought to Take With You
A thankful heart isn’t about having everything you want.
It’s about seeing God’s hand in everything you already have.

Today’s Challenge
Take a quiet moment to thank God for five specific blessings in your life today — big or small.
Then, share a word of thanks or encouragement with someone around you. Gratitude grows when it’s shared!

Closing Prayer Father God,
Thank You for the blessings You’ve poured into my life — the seen and the unseen, the easy and the hard.
Thank You for Your faithfulness, mercy, and love that never fail.
Help me to live each day with a grateful heart and to use my blessings to bless others.
May my life be a reflection of Your goodness and grace.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Where the Spirt of the Lord is there is Freedom....
Today at LIFT we spoke about Freedom.

We Embrace and celebrate Freedom not just Freedom in our nation or in our homes, but Freedom in our hearts through Jesus Christ.

As women, we often juggle many roles, mother, wife, leader, encourage, problem solver, nurture. Sometimes those roles come with heavy burdens. But the good news is this God never meant for us to carry those alone..

With Jesus Christ:
We are free from our past
We are free from guilt & shame
We are free from fear
We are free to grow & flourish in His purpose

Jesus didn't just die to save us
He died to Free us.

To be continued.....

And what a wonderful lunch...

Thank You Ladies, have a great week and remember YOU have Freedom.

What a great LIFT....
With a delicious meal and a powerful message Faith vs Luck
What do you have Luck or Faith?

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1

Today we explored how faith surpasses luck and how we can grow stronger in our trust in God.
We often hear people say "Good Luck" before a big event, an interview, or a Dr's appointment. But as believers, we are called to faith. While Luck depends on chance, Faith depends on trust in God's promises.
The next time you hear someone say "Good Luck" remember that as believers, we have something far better.....the unwavering promises of a faithful God.
Trust Him knowing He works all things together for good.

So do you have Luck or Faith?
Here are 3 ways to
Strengthen our Faith
1. Spend Time in Scripture
2. Pray with Expectation
3. Surround Yourself with Believers.

Praying for everyone out sick and everyone on Spring Break.
