Tony’s Place is reaching out to our community with full hearts and an urgent request. As temperatures drop, the young men we serve are in desperate need of basic clothing essentials. Many come to us with little more than the clothes on their backs.

We are asking for donations of:
Jackets
Hoodies
T-Shirts
Jeans & Joggers
New Socks
New Underwear

…and other everyday necessities that help restore dignity, comfort, and warmth.

Meet Erin and Shane, two of Tony’s Place’s longtime volunteers who always answer the call to give our organization a helping hand!

After Montrose’s rainbow crosswalks were removed, LGBTQ youth at Tony’s Place proposed a new Pride walkway. The community-painted ramp and railings now mark the center as a visible safe space.

In this video, our wonderful volunteer, Naomi opens up about her coming out experience. What initially was a tumultuous time, had a silver lining. Namoi and her family found healing. Through eduction and understanding, Naomi’s family not only accepted her, her mom became a cherished ally for the LGBTQ+ community. This is one of the reasons Naomi says, she proudly volunteers at Tony's Place.

😴✨ Sleep = Self-Care!
Did you know LGBTQ+ people are at higher risk for sleep problems due to stress, anxiety, and discrimination? 🏳️‍🌈💭 Poor sleep can lead to low energy, mood changes, and even higher rates of depression and anxiety.

Getting 7–9 hours of quality rest helps regulate emotions, strengthen the immune system, and boost focus and confidence 💪🧠.

Tips for better sleep:
🌙 Keep a consistent bedtime
📱 Unplug 30 minutes before sleep
🕯️ Make your space calm and affirming
🧘 Try deep breathing or journaling to unwind

Taking care of your sleep is taking care of your whole self. You deserve rest, safety, and peace every night. 🌈
