Council Member Fred Flickinger invites residents to attend a Utility Coordination Meeting – Community Open House on Thursday, June 4, from 5:00 – 6:30 PM at the Kingwood Community Center.

Join representatives from CenterPoint Energy, the City of Houston Office of Emergency Management, Comcast, Union Pacific, Trees for Houston, Trees for Kingwood, Xfinity, and the District E Office to learn about utility safety, hurricane preparedness, vegetation management, energy efficiency programs, local resources, and more.

Residents are encouraged to stop by, ask questions, and connect with local organizations and service providers.

Council Member Fred Flickinger invites residents to attend a community open house focused on utility safety, hurricane preparedness, and local resources, hosted in collaboration with CenterPoint Energy, the City of Houston Office of Emergency Management (OEM), Comcast, Union Pacific, Trees for Houston, Trees for Kingwood, Xfinity, and the District E Office.

Representatives from CenterPoint Energy will be available to discuss electric and natural gas operations, forestry and vegetation management, “Right Tree, Right Place” practices, 811/damage prevention, streetlight services, and energy efficiency programs.

Residents are encouraged to stop by, ask questions, and connect with local organizations and service providers.
