Join us for the City of Jersey Village Back the Blue Golf Tournament on August 1, 2026, at Jersey Meadow Golf Club.

This event supports a truly meaningful cause. All proceeds will benefit the Texas Police Chiefs Association Fallen Officer Foundation Fund, which provides immediate assistance to the families of Texas peace officers who die in the line of duty.

In 2026, Texas has lost seven officers in the line of duty. Their sacrifice is a powerful reminder of the risks our officers face every day and the importance of standing beside the families they leave behind.

The Jersey Village Police Department extends our deepest condolences to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the family of Deputy Erika Serrato following her End of Watch.

Today, we join our brothers and sisters in law enforcement across Texas in mourning the loss of a dedicated public servant who answered the call to protect others. Deputy Serrato’s courage, commitment, and selfless service will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Deputy Serrato’s family, her friends, and every member of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office as they navigate this unimaginable loss. May they find strength in one another and comfort in the tremendous legacy she leaves behind.

Teamwork in Action!

When a large tree came down and completely blocked a roadway in Jersey Village during today’s storm, our officers didn’t wait for someone else to solve the problem—they got to work.

In less than 30 minutes, JVPD officers assessed the situation, cut the tree into manageable sections, and cleared the roadway, restoring safe access for our residents while rain continued to fall.

This is a great example of what public service looks like. Whether responding to emergencies, directing traffic, helping stranded motorists, or clearing hazards from our streets, our officers are committed to doing whatever it takes to keep Jersey Village safe.

Thank you to the officers who stepped up, worked together, and got the job done quickly and safely. Your dedication, teamwork, and willingness to serve beyond traditional law enforcement duties make a difference every day.

During National Police Week, the men and women of the Jersey Village Police Department stand united in honoring the courage, commitment, and sacrifice of law enforcement officers across this nation.

We proudly recognize every member of JVPD who serves our community with professionalism, integrity, and dedication each and every day. Behind every badge is a servant willing to answer the call, protect others, and make sacrifices for the safety of our citizens.

Most importantly, we pause to honor the brave officers who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their courage and legacy will never be forgotten. We remember them, we honor them, and we remain committed to carrying their memory forward through our service.

To all law enforcement officers and their families — thank you for your sacrifice, strength, and unwavering dedication.
