Please be aware. There is a gas leak on on the east side near I-10. With the winds blowing in this direction, you will be smelling gas in the city outside.

🚒 Incident Report — Fire Response off Oswego Drive (7/18/25)

On July 18, 2025, Jacinto City Fire Department (JCFD) responded to a structure fire located off Oswego Drive. Crews worked swiftly to bring the blaze under control.

The response included coordinated support from:
- Houston Fire Department (Station 44)
- Port of Houston Fire Department
- North Channel EMS
- Jacinto City Police Department (JCPD) — assisted with scene security and traffic control
- Jacinto City Dispatch — ensured timely coordination and communication across responding agencies

Two civilians were transported to the hospital for medical evaluation. Two JCFD firefighters sustained minor injuries and were also transported; both firefighters have since been released and are recovering well.

JCFD thanks all responding units and dispatch personnel for their professionalism and dedication to public safety.
