Our 2nd graders explored how physical properties can change through hands-on activities like cutting, folding, sanding, and combining small units to create something new. Students folded and flew paper airplanes, sanded wood, cut paper, and built using LEGO’s.

Science you can see, touch, and taste! Our 2nd graders conducted investigations to explore how physical properties change through processes like melting and freezing. They melted chocolate and made their own ice cream!

2nd Grade Science in action! Our students explored the physical properties of solids and liquids by feeling balloons filled with water and ice. They made observations, discussed what they noticed, and learned how solids and liquids have different properties!

We are building a strong foundation for a successful year in Essential Skills on our first Innovation Day! Our 4th and 1st Grade students reviewed expectations and collaborated on a handprint project representing unity, respect, and the commitment we share to support one another as learners and leaders.
