BONEY. Fort Bend County owes its strength and essence to the people who call it home. You & I make each corner of this county the BEST place to live. I am Jeffrey L.

The best part of this county aren’t just its parks—it’s all of us who have chosen to Live, Eat, & Play here. Boney...Son, Husband, Father, Community Advocate, Media Professional and Business Man. I believe in putting "Missouri City First" and I respectfully ask for your vote! Back in December 2000, my family and I made the important decision to move to Missouri City - District B, months before the

birth of our now 23 year-old son, Joshua. We made what has become one of the best decisions of our lives, with the hopes of improving our quality of life; living in a safe neighborhood; ensuring our kids received a stellar education; lowering our taxes; and allowing us to build and share a lifetime of memories that are the hallmark of any family. We have truly been blessed as residents of Missouri City! When we moved into Missouri City Kroger grocery store occupied the building off of Texas Parkway and Independence, near the U.S. Post Office. A movie theatre was in the commercial storefront near the Wells Fargo Bank building at Court and Texas Parkway. The food chain, Sonic, recently sat across from Foodarama at Texas Parkway and Cartwright. Over the years, business development in has taken a few hits, with several of those major businesses leaving, but many of the small businesses have remained and continue to create jobs and faithfully service the community. There is so much growth potential in our city, and I believe we can make that growth a reality through having a solid vision and having leadership that has the experience and relationships to make it happen. I want to be a part of that future growth. Not just by sitting on the sidelines, but as an active participant in the place where change only happens through the legislative process - at Missouri City Hall. Not only do I have vision for this great District, but I have a track record that speaks to my commitment to work, through my experience in economic development through the development of small businesses; my passion for the youth; my advocacy for the individuals and businesses that need a voice; and my public service in Missouri City as President of my Homeowner's Association, as Vice-Chairman of the Missouri City Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee, and much more. Over the coming months, I want to do two things as I travel across the district meeting people. First, I want to listen to the residents and businesses. I want to listen in order to better understand your heart, concerns and hopes for progress. Secondly, I want further share my vision as to where I see District B, both now and in the future. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you very soon, and I am so excited about what the future holds for my family and yours in District B. God Bless You and Missouri City, Texas!

I’m even MORE PUMPED UP after attending the Meet & Greet for State Representative Vikki Goodwin, our next Lieutenant Governor of the State of Texas, at the Family Life and Community Resource Center in Richmond!

Vikki has been to Fort Bend several times, and once again, attendees had the opportunity to HEAR HER PRIORITIES, ASK QUESTIONS, AND GET INVOLVED IN THE CAMPAIGN.

A huge thank you to Dr. Cleo Wadley and the Black Richmond-Rosenberg Area Democrats (B.R.R.A.D.), a chapter of the Texas Coalition of Black Democrats, for hosting this important conversation.

And a special shoutout to one of our most prolific young community leaders, Anthony Collier, for doing an outstanding job moderating the discussion.

I also appreciate Rep. Goodwin for taking the time to answer my question on an issue I have been championing for almost a decade: the lack of regulation and oversight surrounding the ever-increasing number of group homes in our communities. This is an issue that deserves serious attention as our Fort Bend communities continue to grow.

Finally, I want to say how HONORED I am to have the endorsement of B.R.R.A.D. Their commitment to civic engagement, voter empowerment, and strengthening our Fort Bend community is truly outstanding.

The work continues. The conversations matter. And Fort Bend is paying attention!

I truly enjoyed the 2026 Taste of Missouri City at the Missouri City Community Center next to City Hall on yesterday!

I was fortunate to be serving on Missouri City Council when Councilwoman and current Mayor Pro Tem Lynn Clouser and her Small Business Advisory Committee introduced this amazing concept.

It’s incredible to see how much it has grown and how it has clearly become a fan favorite in our community!

And let’s talk about the DUNKING BOOTH! 😂💦

Mayor Pro Tem Clouser, Councilwoman Sonya Brown-Marshall, Councilwoman Sharita Thompson, and Parks Director Donnie Hayes were all GREAT SPORTS for participating in the dunking booth to raise money in support of an outstanding Missouri City nonprofit, Palmer House.

Let’s just say… there was A LOT of money raised and A LOT of dunking going on! 🤣🤣🤣

Listen...food, drinks, desserts and so much more were on display, showcasing the incredible small businesses, restaurants, and food entrepreneurs that help make Missouri City such a special place to live, work, and play.

And OMG—the samples were EVERYTHING! 😋

Man...Micheaux's Southern Cuisine was giving out samples that were almost equivalent to the meal I paid for recently at their in-store location. And I enjoyed the other samples from the other participating vendors as well.

Shoutout to all of the participating vendors listed on the flyer:

Listen...tonight was much needed!

A packed house. Great questions. Real dialogue. And, most importantly, a raw and real conversation about what’s REALLY going on in Fort Bend County.

A huge thank you to the National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA), Greater Houston Chapter, for hosting THE STATE OF FORT BEND COUNTY—a timely and important conversation about where we are, the challenges we face, and the opportunities ahead.

Special thanks to our outstanding panelists:

• Fort Bend County Attorney Bridgette Smith-Lawson
• Fort Bend County District Attorney Brian Middleton
• Fort Bend County Commissioner Grady Prestage
• Fort Bend County Commissioner Dexter McCoy

And thank you to Danyahel Norris, Senior Assistant City Attorney for the City of Houston, for serving as moderator and helping guide such a substantive discussion.

These are the conversations we need to have—and we need to have them honestly, openly, and without fear.

Fort Bend County is growing. The stakes are getting higher. The challenges are real. But so are the opportunities.

We cannot sit on the sidelines. We cannot be silent. We cannot simply hope things get better.

WE NEED TO STAND UP.

Stand up. Speak up. Stay engaged. Know what’s happening in the county where you live, work, raise your family, and pay your taxes.

Fort Bend County is OUR county. And its future belongs to ALL of us.

Two Nations. Two Milestones. One Celebration!

What a great day celebrating India’s 80th Independence Day and America’s 250th Independence Day at the Stafford Centre in Stafford, hosted by the India Culture Center in partnership with so many wonderful community organizations.

The Fort Bend Democratic Party was there all day with a booth promoting our outstanding slate of candidates. It was a great opportunity to meet, talk with, and connect with voters while celebrating the incredible diversity and culture of our community.

I also had a great time enjoying the amazing cultural presentations and performances I was able to witness.

And, oh… is there any culture that doesn’t LOVE the King of Pop, Michael Jackson?! 😂🕺🏾

Shoutout to the young group I caught on video who chose “Billie Jean” for their routine—and to the several other groups who brought some MJ to the stage as well! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Music, culture, community, and two great nations coming together.

What a HUGE event yesterday! 🙌🏽

I had the opportunity to stop by HOUSTONAM 2026, hosted by Sri Guruvayurappan Temple Houston, operated by the Kerala Hindu Society Houston.

With more than 4,000 attendees and over 500 program participants, the Fort Bend Epicenter in Rosenberg was filled with incredible cultural artistry, music, dance, tradition, and community.

It was beautiful to see so many families and community members come together to celebrate their culture and heritage while sharing it with others.

Thank you to all of the organizers, volunteers, performers, and participants who made this such a tremendous celebration of community and culture!

From the Desk of Candidate for Fort Bend County Treasurer Jeffrey L. Boney

There are moments when we have to put politics aside and stand up for a principle bigger than any political party.

This is one of those moments.

I believe the people of Fort Bend County deserve elected officials who are respected, supported, and given the ability to carry out the responsibilities entrusted to them by the voters.

That is why I am asking Fort Bend County residents to STAND UP by showing up and supporting our County Attorney and our voting rights.

I have had tons of events today, but I had to stop by the Back to School, Health & Community Resource Fair, Supply Giveaway, and Mentor Recruitment Event at one of my absolute favorite places in Missouri City — Carey’s Frozen Delights!🍦

This was a great opportunity for families to connect with FREE services and resources, including:

🎒 School & teacher supplies
🥫 Food support
👕 Clothing support
🧼 Hygiene items
🎁 Kids’ giveaways
🤝 Community resources
❤️ Family support resources

A huge thank you to the outstanding organizations that helped make this event possible, including the Missouri City Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation, Texas Cops and Communities, Inc., and We Love The Kids, Inc.

This is what community looks like — organizations coming together to make sure our children and families have the resources and support they need to thrive.

And, of course, y’all already know I can't stop by Carey’s Frozen Delights without getting my signature Jeffrey L. Boney Root Beer Float! 🤷🏾‍♂️😂🥤

Community. Connection. Service.

That’s what it’s all about! ❤️
