Today we made it official when we attended the Kids Unlimited Foundation Kids Fishing Tournament at Fayette County Lake. We were excited to announce the amount raised at thw 18th Annual Fall Bass Classic for Kids Unlimited is $5,165!!! This makes over $77,710 that we have have raised for KU at the Fall Bass Classic over the last 8 years!

Thank you to everyone involved in the FBC, sponsors, participants, and volunteers over the last 18 years, and for all the support of this great annual charity fishing tournament!

Seven Coves Bass Club celebrated its 18th year of the Fall Bass Classic charity tournament, October 11th, 2025, on Lake Conroe. Hosted by Stow-A-Way Marina and Rv Park, the annual tournament again benefited the Kids Unlimited Foundation. Kids Unlimited (kidsunlimited.org) was founded as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed to benefit children stricken with cancer. This organization as founded with the hope to provide children a reprise from cancer and an opportunity to be free of the harsh treatment regimen. Through these efforts, Kids Unlimited joins over 250 families together for consistent family-oriented activities.

This year we had 30 angler teams participate. The team of Julian Clepper & Randy Gunter bested the field with only 4-fish for 27.82, anchored by a 10.44 Big Bass. 1st place awarded them $1,745, along with and additional $1,000 for Big Bass. This was the second year in a row that they had Big Bass for the Fall Bass Classic.

Second place went to last years winners, Dusty Schultz & Rusty Lawson with a 5-fish limit for 20.25 lbs. This earned them a check for $920.
3rd – Colin Bode/Mark Goetzman - 19.63 - $625
4th - Jerry & Hillary Watson - 17.47 - $250, also had 2nd BB for 8.46 - Ark Rods

1st Place, 2nd Place, & Big Bass Winners were presented plaques donated by Burks Creations.

We are working on the final numbers, but we are certain that the event was a great success. We will present the final check at the annual Kids Unlimited "Kid Fish" event at Fayette County lake, held on next Saturday, Oct. 18th, with many kids and families present.

The success of this annual event is not possible without our sponsors, anglers, the community, and their support through their participation and donations.

We are at Stow-A-Way Marina and Rv Park getting set up for the 18th Annual Lake Conroe Fall Bass Classic benefitting Kids Unlimited Foundation!

Just a few FAQ’s in regard to off-limits, registration, and take off order. All information can be found in the official rules found at our website, www.sevencovesbassclub.com/classic

1) This is an open event and there are No Off-Limits. Remember this is for charity.

2) There will be a boat take-off order Saturday morning. Boat numbers are given by officials and assigned by registration number. Boat flights & check in time will be assigned at take-off.

3) On-Site Registration at Stow-A-Way Marina and Rv Park is Friday, Oct. 10 – 4:00-7:00 PM & Saturday Oct. 11, 5:00-6:00 AM. Check our website for online registration.

4) Announcements, Prayer, and National Anthem will begin at 7:00 AM, followed by ordered boat take-off at approximately 7:10 AM. This will occur at the cove side end of one of the docks.

5) Raffle & silent auction will open at approximately 1:30 at the Stow-A-Way Marina and Rv Park pavillion.

As we are ramping up for the 18th Annual Fall Bass Classic benefitting Kids Unlimited Foundation, we want to remind everyone that September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Kids Unlimited focuses on creating and planning fun events for children and their family who are suffering from cancer.

The anglers and community is a part of the success of of the Fall Bass Classic, and we hope you can join us on October 11th at Stow-A-Way Marina and Rv Park. We are still taking donations and will take tournament registrations through 6:00 AM on Sat, Oct. 11th.
