The 11th Annual Fort Bend Drug Symposium did not disappoint! It's always an interesting and informative experience. Our own Sheriff Eric Fagan spoke about the great work being done by collaborative efforts in Fort Bend County. Gaining new information and updated resources to share with our communities is where it all starts!!!

Today was a powerful and inspiring day at M.R. Woods Alternative School in Sugar Land, Texas. Today's “Pizza with the Police” event truly highlighted what community partnership should look like.

A special thank you to Fort Bend County Sheriff Eric Fagan and the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, along with our dedicated sheriff's office deputies, constable deputies, FBC Precint 4 Constable Patrick Quincy, Fort Bend ISD Police Officers, officers from Houston Community College, Lamar Consolidated Independent School District Police Officers, and so many other law enforcement agencies across Fort Bend County who showed up and showed out today!

This event was more than just sharing pizza—it was about building trust, creating positive connections, and showing our students that law enforcement is here to support, guide, and uplift them. The energy in the room was incredible. Seeing students and officers laughing, talking, and engaging with one another in such a positive way reminds us why these moments matter.

These kinds of collaborative efforts are not just important—they’re necessary. It takes a united front to strengthen our communities, and today was a perfect example of what happens when we all come together with a shared purpose.
We are truly grateful for everyone who took the time to invest in our youth today. This is how relationships are built, barriers are broken, and futures are shaped!!! 💙🍕👮‍♂️
