88 Species. One Common Need.
Remove standing water and stop mosquitoes before they hatch. Mosquitoes may behave differently, but they all start in water.

A quick walk around your yard can eliminate many of the places mosquitoes use to develop.
Dump it. Drain it. Prevent it.

Twenty-five years have passed since the events that shaped our nation on that fateful day, September 11, 2001.

Today, BFD and our Baytown elected and City officials gathered at the Baytown Firefighters' Memorial to honor the innocent lives lost, remember the extraordinary bravery of first responders, and recognize the strength and compassion Americans showed one another in the days that followed.

May this day serve as a reminder of the importance of serving others, standing together, caring for our community and our solemn promise to Never Forget.

Cities often travel to Austin to meet with state leaders and discuss important issues. But what if those leaders came to our turf instead? That’s where Coffee with Legislators comes in.

Recently, Baytown brought the conversation home, welcoming Sen. Carol Alvarado and Rep. Ana Hernandez for a casual sit-down with members of Baytown City Council and City Manager Jason Reynolds.

The conversation focused on the priorities, challenges, and opportunities shaping Baytown today and in the years ahead. Both legislators called it a first-of-its-kind event, praising Baytown for finding a new way to strengthen relationships with our state leaders and make sure our community’s voice is heard.

Watch the recap and see how Baytown is leading the conversation.
