🚀 Master the Art of Writing Winning Grant Proposals! 🚀

Are you looking to secure funding for your nonprofit or community project? Crafting a winning grant proposal is an essential skill that can help turn your vision into reality. Here’s how you can improve your chances of getting funded:

1️⃣ Know Your Funder: Research potential funders to ensure your project aligns with their mission and goals. Tailor your proposal to meet their specific requirements.

2️⃣ Tell a Compelling Story: Funders want to know the why behind your project. Share the story of the people you're helping, the problem you're solving, and how your project will make a difference.

3️⃣ Be Clear and Concise: Avoid jargon and be direct. Funders appreciate proposals that are clear, well-organized, and easy to read.

4️⃣ Show Impact: Demonstrate how your project will create measurable, lasting change. Use data and examples to support your claims.

5️⃣ Budget Wisely: Provide a realistic budget that shows how funds will be allocated. Funders want to see that their investment will be used efficiently and effectively.

6️⃣ Proofread, Proofread, Proofread: Don’t let typos or errors undermine your credibility. A polished proposal reflects professionalism and attention to detail.

With the right strategy, your grant proposal can stand out and increase your chances of success. Need help with your next grant? Let's chat! 💬

Tonya Stafford is one my clients. I first met Tonya at one of my Grant Writing workshops. We have been working together for about 3 years and I am so proud to have been there from the beginning helping get her story out on Human Trafficking.

Texas is second in the country for the number of human trafficking cases. A North Texas woman has developed an app, hoping to help victims get the help they need.

The first step in proposal preparation is building a solid foundation.

A foundation that includes defining what you do in government terms, registering in SAM, the government database of potential and existing federal contractors, developing a compelling small business profile and capability statement, including a Dynamic Small Business Search profile and finally, finding contract opportunities that are suitable for you to bid on.

NFL Foundation, National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), Gatorade And Professional Football Athletic Trainers Society (PFATS) Expand Commitment To Fund Athletic Trainers In Underserved High Schools Nationwide

EXPANDED PROGRAM AND NATIONAL CONTEST ANNOUNCED AT NATA’S 66TH ANNUAL CONVENTION

St. Louis, June 24, 2015 – At the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) 66th Clinical Symposia and AT Expo in St. Louis today, the NFL Foundation, NATA, Gatorade and the Professional Football Athletic Trainers Society (PFATS) announced the expansion of the athletic trainer outreach program for the 2015-2016 school year, funding additional athletic trainers in underserved high schools nationwide. The groups will contribute more than $2 million to the program, doubling last year’s $1 million contribution, as well as provide educational resources, hydration solutions, equipment and programmatic support.

In August, a nationwide contest will launch to give high schools across the country an opportunity to win funding for athletic trainers to help ensure the safety of their youth athletes. In addition, NFL teams will continue to provide athletic trainers in NFL communities where they are most urgently needed, building on efforts started by the Chicago Bears in 2013 and taken up by 16 NFL teams in 2014. To date, the outreach program is impacting more than 160,000 youth athletes across more than 670 schools nationwide.
