Judge Chris Morales Re-elect Judge Chris Morales — Fort Bend County Court at Law No. 1. Learn more at judgemorales.com. Pd. Pol.

Pd Pol Ad The Chris Morales Campaign; Janice Knight, Treasurer Chris Morales was elected as Judge of County Court at Law No. 1 in 2014 and re-elected in 2018. As Judge, he manages a multitude of cases that impacts the daily life of every citizen in Fort Bend County. Judge Morales oversees cases involving probate & guardianship, juvenile, civil litigation, condemnation, misdemeanor and civil mental

health commitments. Most importantly, Judge Morales also oversees our County’s only Misdemeanor Mental Health Court, a program designed to reduce recidivism rates among criminal defendants with mental illness. Since taking office, Judge Morales has been instrumental in implementing new technologies in the courtroom that reduce taxpayer costs and ensure the courts evolve with changing needs. In fact, when the COVID-19 Pandemic closed the courts, Judge Morales’ previous planning and knowledge of virtual conferencing platforms allowed his Court to quickly adopt such technology to conduct remote hearings, reducing the impact on Court operations. Further, Judge Morales has worked hard to introduce multiple continuing education events for lawyers and has worked closely with the Juvenile Probation Department for the youth of our County. Judge Morales is a lifelong resident of Fort Bend County, graduating from B.F. Terry High School in Rosenberg and Texas A&M University in College Station. He is married to his high school sweetheart and fellow Texas A&M graduate, Vanessa Morales. Judge Morales and Vanessa have been members at River Pointe Church in Richmond for over 10 years, and have two children, Madelyn and William. Fort Bend was built by people who show up early and stay late: teachers, nurses, linemen, small business owners, first responders, and everyone whose work never makes headlines.

This Labor Day, we honor you. Enjoy the day, you've earned it. 🇺🇸

Another 600 doors knocked today! Thank you to everyone who opened their door and took the time to have meaningful conversations with me and my volunteers. Your input is what keeps this campaign grounded in what matters most to the people of Fort Bend County.

Our goal is to knock on over 15,000 doors before this is done, so be on the lookout for us as we make our way through the county. If you see us in your neighborhood, come say hello!

This picture only captures the first crew that went out this morning. A special thank you to Lee, Javier, Ahmed, and my wife for hitting the streets in 95 degree heat today. Your dedication means the world to me. 🙏👟

When someone's in crisis, they're not the only one in crisis; their whole family is. This one is for the mothers, spouses, and kids who never gave up on someone they love. Our Mental Health Court gives those families a path.

What a day! The Morales Campaign was out block walking again today, knocking on doors and talking with voters across Fort Bend County. To every volunteer who gave up part of their day to walk with us, thank you. This campaign is powered by people like you, and I do not take a single one of you for granted. Every door we knock brings us one step closer to November. Let's keep it going! 🚪👟

My wife did not make the group picture since she was the one taking the photo, so we took a selfie together.

Throwback Thursday! Some things never change, and my love for this community is one of them. Here is a photo of my mother and me at a Richmond Rosenberg Chamber of Commerce event from the mid nineties. I have racked my brain trying to remember the name of the event, but it is lost to time. If you were there or recognize it, let me know in the comments! 📸
