I’m asking our community to come together for someone who’s always shown up for others. ❤️‍🩹

Jesús is a passionate organizer and a true friend. I met him while working at the Texas Legislature—he was one of my remote interns and also served as VP of Houston Stonewall Young Democrats while I was President. Over time, I got to guide and advise him on different things, and we built a real friendship. Watching him grow into the powerhouse organizer he is today has been such a gift. 🙌🏽

As a Field Director with an organization, Jesús continues to give so much of himself to serve others and uplift our communities.

Recently, he was rushed to the hospital due to severe abdominal pain. Doctors had to perform an emergency surgery that very night—if he had waited any longer, his condition could have turned life-threatening due to complications from a major surgery he had years ago. 🏥

Now he’s healing, but he needs our help. Medical bills, recovery time, and time off work have created a heavy burden.

Let’s show up for him the way he’s always shown up for our community. Every dollar helps. Every share helps. Every prayer helps. 🫶🏽
