A big thank you to everyone who joined us last night for the Fresno, TX, New Library Town Hall! 🎉 Your input is essential in shaping the future of our new library. Here’s a quick recap:

Following introductions from Precinct 2 Commissioner Grady Prestage and Library Director Roosevelt Weeks, Kirksey Architecture led several planning exercises. Attendees voted for their favorite design concepts by using colored dots, highlighted top-priority amenities such as cafés and sensory rooms, and wrote down their personal visions for the space.

We wrapped up with an open forum, kids' crafts, and snacks. We even signed up some new library users with Fort Bend County Libraries cards! Thank you for your help in building a space that truly reflects the Fresno community. ❤️

📣 Reminder — today’s the day! We’d love to hear from YOU.

A library should reflect the people and community it serves, and your ideas can help shape what that looks like for Fresno, Texas and Fort Bend County.

Join us tonight, May 28, at 6 pm, at the Fresno Boys & Girls Club (1031 W Sycamore Rd, Fresno, TX) to learn more about the project, share what matters most to you, meet the architects, and help create a library space that meets your neighborhood’s needs.

Whether it’s programs for kids and teens, study spaces, technology, community events, or something completely new — your voice matters.

All Fort Bend County residents are welcome, and we hope you’ll stop by and be part of the conversation!
