Children Such as These

Children Such as These Welcome to my new organizational site for "Children Such as These". Thank you for your support! Jeff Pimentel
Founder

Children Such as These was born from Christ’s command to defend the least of these—rescuing, restoring, and fighting for children silenced by exploitation, trafficking, and abuse.
Our hope is that this organization will be on the forefront of bringing people to the reality of Child exploitation, will challenge people to a call-to-action, to rid this evil from our communities and to safeguard those that have been victims.

Children Such as These is now on YouTube.

This is the first step in documenting “The Watch Never Ends”—our national effort built on hope, trust, accountability, and community action for children.

We are preparing now for the April 1, 2027 journey across America. This channel is where we will share the preparation, the people who step forward, the communities that join us, and the work behind the mission.

Look Deeper! Learn More! Find Your Place!

People often ask me: “What can I do to help?”

My answer to you…Begin by doing something that may take only a few minutes — It could change what you notice, what you understand, and what you decide to do next.

Visit our website:
www.childrensuchasthese.org

But please, don’t stop at the homepage.

Open the different sections. Follow the stories. See the faces. Read what is happening to children in communities across America.

We have worked to build something more than another nonprofit website.

We are building a place where people can:

- Learn what children are facing right now.
- See verified cases of children who remain missing.
- Understand warning signs that are too often overlooked.
- Learn what to notice in hotels, airports, train stations, rest stops, and other public places.
- Stand with Native children and understand the disproportionate dangers confronting their communities.
- Discover organizations and individuals doing meaningful work.
- Follow “The Watch Never Ends”—A National Call to Protect Our Children as it develops toward its April 2027 launch.
- Learn how one person, one organization, or one community can become part of the response.

Some pages may educate you ..Some may trouble you …Some may introduce you to a child, family, organization, or issue you did not know about yesterday.
And somewhere within those pages, you may discover the answer to a very personal question:

“Where do I fit?”

You may find information you need to share with a parent. You might recognize something you have witnessed but never understood. You may discover a missing child whose face deserves to remain visible. You may learn how to respond when a child appears to be in danger. You may decide that your church, school, business, agency, Tribe, civic organization, or community should become involved.

Or

You may decide to join us somewhere along the road when “The Watch Never Ends” begins its national journey in April 2027.

This website was created for parents, survivors, advocates, law enforcement professionals, educators, attorneys, prosecutors, Tribal communities, veterans, faith leaders, civic organizations—and every person who believes children deserve to be seen, protected, and remembered.

I am not asking you to understand everything we do from one social-media post.
I am asking you to enter the website and discover it for yourself.

Give us ten minutes …Look beyond the homepage …Open a section that speaks to you …Learn one thing you did not know …Share one page that someone else needs to see.

Then ask yourself:

“What can I take hold of?”

Because awareness should lead somewhere. Knowledge should change what we notice ...And concern should eventually become action.

Every child deserves an adult who refuses to look away.

The problem is already clear ...The question is whether we are willing to change where the response begins.

A COURT CAN INTERPRET THE LAW ...AND, IT CANNOT DEFINE OUR MORAL COMPASS.

This morning, on my Daily Briefs, I found parents, grandparents and child advocates talking about a recent decision from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit involving AI-generated child sexual abuse material (CSAM)

We should be careful and understand what the court actually ruled.

Lets be clear, the court did not affirm all AI-generated child sexual abuse material legal.

The case involved a specific constitutional question concerning the private, in-home possession of obscene AI-generated sexual images depicting children where no actual child was shown to have been used in creating those particular images.

For me, there is a much larger question in play here!

When did the Absence of an "identifiable child victim" make the sexual depiction of children morally acceptable?

It doesn't!

Technology may change, and it is at a rapid pace, AI may change, the law may struggle to keep up, the courts may be bound by precedent written decades before today's technology existed
..But our moral obligation to protect children does not change, ever!

If technology can create photorealistic images depicting the sexual abuse of children, I certainly dont feel comforted by that, simply because someone tells us the child in a particular image “isn't real.”

We should be asking:
-What does this material normalize.
-What does it encourage?
-How can it be used to groom a real child?
*What happens when an investigator can no longer immediately determine whether the child on a screen exists and desperately needs to be rescued?
*And what kind of culture are we creating if our first question becomes, “Is this legally protected?” instead of, “Is this harmful to children?”

There is an important distinction between what may be constitutionally protected under existing precedent and what we, as a society, are willing to accept.

Our children deserve more than technical compliance with the law ...They deserve adults willing to Draw a Line!

At Children Such as These, our line is simple:

**Children are not sexual objects!
Not physically ...Not digitally ...Not artificially

Not ever!

And no 'advancement in technology' should require us to surrender the Moral clarity to say so.

The judges themselves acknowledged that AI has changed this landscape dramatically and that the Supreme Court may need to provide new guidance.

I would say that conversation is overdue and we need to be prepared to attack this issue head on!

Until that time comes, parents, educators, technology companies, lawmakers, law enforcement officers and child advocates can't wait for technology and the law to catch up with one another.

Our Moral Compass must remain intact!

Because protecting children has never been solely the responsibility of a courtroom...

It Belongs To All Of Us!

Every child deserves an adult who refuses to look away.

Before someone else sets the rules for your child’s technology, sit down as a family and create your own.

Schools are limiting devices. Platforms are introducing new safeguards. States are debating screen time and online protections …Those conversations matter!

But perhaps one of the most important conversations about technology isn't happening in a legislature, a school board meeting, or a technology company.

It's Happening Around the Kitchen Table.

A family technology plan doesn't need to be complicated.

Start with four conversations:

1. Review the settings together.
Look at daily time limits, privacy settings, overnight restrictions, and notifications. Don't just change them—explain why they matter and invite your child into the decision.
2. Decide where phones rest.
Where will devices go during sleep, meals, homework, and family time? When everyone participates—including the adults—it becomes a family expectation rather than a punishment.
3. Remember that every child is different.
Technology may also be a lifeline. Consider medical needs, accessibility tools, school requirements, communication needs, and other circumstances before establishing blanket rules.
4. Ask instead of accuse.
Try one simple question:
“What makes it hardest for you to put the screen down?”

Then listen. That answer may teach us far more than another restriction ever could.

The goal shouldn't be to raise children who make good digital decisions only because an adult controls their device.

The goal should be to help them develop the judgment to make those decisions when we're no longer standing next to them.

Set Boundaries. Have Conversations. Teach Judgment. Build Trust.

Technology will continue to change …The relationship you build with your child today can help them navigate whatever comes next.

Protect Them. Prepare Them. And Most Importantly, Talk To Them!

THE WATCH NEVER ENDS
A National Call to Protect Our Children

For the past several months, I've been relatively quiet about The Watch Never Ends. However, behind the scenes, the mission has continued to grow …and so has my understanding of what this journey should be about.

When this all began, the idea was simple: one man making a 2,000-mile trek across the country to bring attention to the exploitation, trafficking, abuse, and disappearance of children.

But I've come to realize something important:

This is no longer one man's trek. This is a journey that belongs to all of us!

On April 1, 2027, we will begin in Yuba City, California, traveling community by community until the torch is passed in Terre Haute, Indiana.

I'm not asking people to just watch this journey unfold …I'm asking you to become part of the journey.

Law enforcement. Survivors. Parents. Teachers. Nurses. Veterans. First responders. Advocates. Faith communities. Businesses. Civic leaders. Students. Families.

Every demographic. Every community. Every person willing to stand for a child.

And along the way, we will make a deliberate effort to stand with Native Tribes and Indigenous communities …not simply passing through, but stopping to listen, learn, build relationships, and ask:

“How can we stand with you?”

Some will walk with us. Some will bicycle. Some will ride. Some may join us for a day or a single mile. Others may simply come out to meet us.

Every one of them matters!

Because this journey won't be measured only by the miles we travel.
It will be measured by the people and communities who choose to stand the Watch.

On April 1, we begin.
I hope you'll join us.

THE WATCH NEVER ENDS
April 1–30, 2027
Yuba City, California → Terre Haute, Indiana

Because Every Child Deserves an Adult Who Refuses to Look Away.

06/16/2026

For more than 30 years, I served as a police officer and spent much of my career responding to emergencies, searching for missing people, and helping families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

One lesson never left me:
When a child goes missing, every minute matters.

Over the years, I often found myself asking the same question: Why does the clock work against us when a child is in danger?

That question eventually became Native Brigade, and later, Sentinel Guard™ and Adams Watch™.

This project wasn't created by a large corporation or a venture-backed startup. It was created because we believe children deserve every possible advantage during those critical first moments when time matters most.

The video below shares the story behind this mission, why it was created, and where we're headed next.

If the message resonates with you, I would be grateful if you would watch, share, and help spread awareness.

Together, we can help create better tools for protecting children and supporting the professionals who work every day to bring them home safely.

Because every minute matters...

✈️ TRAVEL AWARENESS

Summer is here. Many families are getting ready to board planes, check into hotels, sailing on a cruise, or hitting the open road. While travelers are focused on making memories, traffickers are looking for opportunities.

Each of these places mentioned are hot spots for Traffickers and victims are often hidden in plain sight.

As the summer begin, I challenge everyone reading this to be more aware and to spread the message:
• Pay attention to children who appear Fearful, Withdrawn, or Controlled.
• Someone not able to speak for themselves.
• Anything a reasonable person would feel is ʻOut-of-Placeʻ
• Trust your instincts and report concerns to 911.

Remember, awareness is not paranoia, its our responsibility!

The greatest weapon against traffickers is an informed public willing to pay attention and speak up.

As you travel this summer, keep your head on a swivel, because just one observation could make the difference between exploitation, rescue, and a life.

What Your Car Stickers Tell Strangers

We live in a world where people share more than they realize…
That sticker on the back window?

To you, it represents pride.
To a predator, it represents information.

*Your child’s school.
*Their sports team.
*Their jersey number.
*How many children you have.
*Even where the family spends its weekends.

Most parents never stop to think about it, but predators, traffickers, and criminals often pay attention to details the rest of us overlook.

Information displayed on vehicles can unintentionally help someone build a picture of your family’s routines and dynamics:

>“There are children connected to this vehicle.”
>“This child attends this school.”
>“They are likely at practice every Tuesday and Thursday.”
>“I know this child’s name before I ever speak to them.”

That last point matters most!

A stranger using a child’s name can instantly create false familiarity and trust.

As a retired law enforcement officer, I can tell you that protecting children does not begin during an emergency. It begins with Awareness, Prevention, and the small decisions we make every single day.

Think before advertising personal details to the world. The safest families are often the ones that reveal the least to people who don’t need to know
