THANK YOU to all of the people who supported me! However, it looks the voters have spoken, and they prefer to have Dwight Marchant represent District 2 on the Millcreek City Council rather than me. I am a little disappointed that less than 2,200 people actually voted in District 2 (especially when nearly 3,200 votes were cast in District 4 in an uncontested race—and the Granite School District Bond was on the ballot in both Districts 2 and 4 so that shouldn’t have been a significant factor contributing to more votes in District 4 than District 2). I hope in four years somebody will run who can actually inspire the residents of District 2 to be more involved because currently a small percentage of the residents are dictating who represents District 2 on the Millcreek City Council.

If you have not filled out and returned your ballot yet, please do so as soon as possible (ballots must be postmarked no later than Monday, November 6, 2017).

You may also drop your ballot off at the Salt Lake County offices at 2001 South State Street or at the Millcreek UPD at 1580 East 3900 South (ballots may be delivered to one of these locations until 8 pm on Tuesday, November 7, 2017).

If you prefer to vote in person on Election Day on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, then you can vote at the Millcreek Library at 2266 East Evergreen Avenue (3435 South), which will be the only Election Day Vote Center in Millcreek, or any one of the other Vote Centers in Salt Lake County, from 7 am to 8 pm.
