It is with deep respect and gratitude that we remember Past Hazmat Chief Greg Snook, whose dedication to Somerset County spanned more than 30 years of public service.
Throughout his distinguished career, Greg served as Chief of the Somerset County HazMat Team for many years, leading with professionalism, knowledge, and an unwavering commitment to protecting our communities. In addition to his HazMat service, Greg worked with Somerset County Roads and Bridges, where he mentored and trained countless new employees, sharing his experience and helping shape the next generation of public servants.
Greg's leadership, friendship, and commitment to service left a lasting impact on Somerset County and all who had the privilege of working alongside him. His legacy will continue through the many lives he touched and the people he helped guide throughout his career.
Family, friends, colleagues, and community members are invited to attend his memorial service on Saturday, June 27, at 11:30 a.m. at Mary Mother of God Church in Hillsborough, New Jersey.
Please keep Greg's family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers as we honor a life dedicated to service.
Rest easy, Chief. Your watch is complete, but your legacy lives on.
