PAVE is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization located in Hillsboro Oregon dedicated to training service dogs for veterans with mental and/or physical disabilities. PAVE also advances public knowledge of service dogs and the essential roles they play. With our help PAVE has placed 19 dogs in the last 5 years. If you have items you would like to donate for our silent auction, please let us know! Please contact us to arrange for pick-up of your donated item(s). Suggestions on donations include: gift cards/certificates for food/services, gift baskets, beach/vacation home stays, spa/massage services, artwork, wine/beer donations or tastings...etc. Enter the Chili Cook-Off:
Everyone is invited to enter a chili in our cook-off! Entry is free for all divisions and you may choose either the Professional Division (restaurant/caterer), Amateur Division (18 and older) and this year we are soliciting for a Youth Division (under 18). Chili is made prior to the event and needs to be hot and ready to serve at 11 am. This is a family friendly fundraising competition. There are no ingredient restrictions in fact the only requirement is to have fun. Our Story

In 2011, I started The Hillsboro Chili Cook-Off, focusing on supporting our local military veterans. In 2013, we teamed up with PAVE (Paws Assisting Veterans) and became their local fundraising event. That year, at the suggestion of our local restaurant owners, I established a second competition category to allow professional chefs to compete along side our local community participants with a winner in each category. A silent auction is also a big part of the fundraising efforts with amazing items and service donated by local businesses which add to the excitement of the event. Please help us celebrate Veterans at our 8th Annual Hillsboro Chili Cook-Off benefiting PAVE (Paws Assisting Veterans). Together we will make a difference in the lives of our Oregon, Washington, California, and Idaho Veterans!
