What an incredible tournament! ⛳️

On behalf of AFSA Chapter 1163, we want to extend a huge THANK YOU to all of our sponsors for supporting our golf tournament. Your generosity, partnership, and commitment helped make this event a success for our Airmen, families, and community.

Because of your support, we were able to bring people together for a great cause while continuing to strengthen the programs and events that directly impact our military community.

We also want to recognize all of the volunteers, players, and supporters who dedicated their time and energy to making the day possible. Events like this truly show what can happen when the community comes together.

Thank you again for believing in our mission and supporting AFSA Beehive Chapter 1163. We couldn’t have done it without you!

DELIVER THE PAY RAISE. PROTECT THE PAYCHECK

The President’s FY2027 budget proposes a substantial military pay raise—7% for E-5 and below, 6% for E-6 to O-3, and 5% for O-4 and above. This is one of the most significant pay increases for our servicemembers in years, and it’s long overdue.

AFSA is calling on Congress to get this done on time! Enact this raise through the NDAA and full-year appropriations so our Airmen, Guardians, and their families see it in their paychecks without delay.

But delivering a pay raise isn’t enough if a government shutdown can freeze it. That’s why AFSA is also pushing for the Pay Our Troops Act. Legislation that would guarantee military paychecks continue during any lapse in funding. Our troops should never have to worry about whether their next paycheck will arrive because of political gridlock in Washington.
Deliver the raise. Protect the paycheck. Support our troops.

Contact your elected officials and tell them to pass the military pay raise and the Pay Our Troops Act: [https://www.votervoice.net/AFSA/Campaigns/136194/Respond]

It takes less than 30 seconds to send a pre-written letter to Congress advocating for VA disability ratings and protections for veterans.

✅ Send the letter
✅ Help protect benefits for those who serve

🚨Action Needed: Protect Veterans’ Disability Benefits🚨

The VA recently issued a new rule that could change how disability ratings are evaluated by considering conditions while medicated. This raises serious concerns about fairness, consistency, and the potential impact on veterans who rely on earned benefits.

Veterans should never be disadvantaged for following prescribed treatment or managing service-connected conditions responsibly.

AFSA is urging Congress to conduct oversight and take action — and we need your voice.

Take action now and share with your network.

30 seconds. That’s all it takes.
AFSA has a pre-filled letter ready to send to lawmakers to help protect military pay.
Click, submit, done.
Let’s take care of our own. 🇺🇸

|Legislative Update|

The government is open—for now—through Jan 30. But service members and families are still dealing with the stress and trauma of the previous shutdown.

AFSA urges Congress to pass full-year appropriations now (and on time every year) so pay, benefits, and support services are never bargaining chips.

Why now: Full-year funding = uninterrupted pay & benefits, timely TRICARE claims, stable PCS/training, childcare & housing progress, and improved quality of life.

It takes 30 seconds to send your message!

Last December was the annual Angel Tree, a mission to support needing families both in and outside Hill AFB during the holidays. More than 1400 gifts were given to 169 families and 339 children! All families also received commissary gift cards as well. AFSA Chapter 1163 donated $500 to Angel Tree and supplied volunteers to help sort and distribute the gifts. Over 500 volunteer contributed to this event and thank you to everyone’s involvement in the Angel Tree!
