I made a grievous mistake last night in my closing remarks and I feel just awful about it: in my closing remarks and in sharing my gratitude, I failed to mention our municipal clerks, who work their tails off. I realized it after the meeting adjourned and immediately apologized to Cheryl and Marlena. I will publicly correct this oversight at the meeting on January 12 when I make public comments, but once again, I cannot apologize enough. ❤️❤️

Over and out as a council member! Once again, I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to serve, and I will still remain active as a member of the public! Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy 3 Kings Day (shout out to Joyce Ship-Freeman for that last reference!), and a happy and healthy new year to all!❤️

As I approach my final council meeting tomorrow evening (December 22), I wish to express to my Edison neighbors what an honor and privilege it has been to serve as a councilwoman for the past 4 years, along with my humble gratitude to all of you. Although I have lived in Edison for 30 years come next May, I have learned SO much about this town during my term, and I take pride in being one of its residents. I am wistful about my exit from council, but I will remain involved. I wish the new council well and hope they, along with the mayor, listen to the concerns and issues that are important to all of you.

Thank you for all you, the public, do to contribute to the well being of Edison, and I wish you all warm holiday greetings and a happy and healthy 2026!

Wishing all who celebrate a very happy Hanukkah and extending deepest sympathies to the victims of the violent act of antisemitism that took place at Bondi Beach, Australia. We can never forget…
