We will meander along the Piedmont Environmental Center's only permanent stream, get up close to a beaver dam and scan High Point City Lake for herons, ducks and kingfishers. Registration required!

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🇺🇸

In observance of Memorial Day, the following City of High Point facilities and services will be closed on Monday, May 26:

• City Hall
• Customer Service Branch Office (Northpoint Avenue)
• Customer Service Call Center
• HPTS ACCESS
• High Point Transit System
• Ingleside Composting Yard (Saturday–Monday)
• Kersey Valley Landfill (Saturday–Monday)
• Municipal Recycling Facility
• Museum
• Public Library

Garbage and recycling collection will be delayed by one day. Collection days will run Tuesday through Friday.

We wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.
