📣 PARADE REGISTRATION REMINDER!

Registration begins at 8:30 AM at 10th & Main Street on the SOUTH side.

If you did NOT pre-register: Please come to the registration area beginning at 8:30 AM to get checked in and receive your number.

If you DID pre-register: No need to register again! Expect a phone call tonight with your parade number.

We’re SO EXCITED and looking forward to Labor Day!!

🎺🥁 IMPORTANT BAND INFORMATION FOR MONDAY! 🥁🎺

It was brought to my attention that we may not have communicated Monday’s plan as clearly as I intended, so I wanted to make sure all of our bands and directors know exactly what to expect!

📍 Parade Route & After the Parade:
Your bands will begin marching at 10th & Main and continue down Main Street to the corner of 3rd & Main.

From there, bands can take the sidewalk up to The Briefcase, 313 W. Main Street.

💧 Once you arrive, we will have water ready for everyone! There are also bathrooms available so students can cool off, clean up, put away their instruments, and get settled while we wait for the remaining bands to finish marching.

🎶 And we’re going to have a little fun while we wait!

We have band trivia ready for the students and I even have a couple of Band Director Challenge Questions that might just put our directors to the test! 😏🎺

Hi Y’all! A few Parade questions have been asked.
Candy? Yes! We love candy please pass out candy because let’s be honest that’s what everyone is there for but please don’t throw it from a moving vehicle.
Side x sides, 4wheelers and golf carts are welcome to be a part of the parade as participants/floats/decorated cars, but please stay with your group. The “tags” are to keep people not affiliated with HLDC from speeding up and down the parade route and potentially causing harm to the spectators. BUT please keep your kids back and do not allow them to run towards moving vehicles.
