Recently, we were made aware of an oversight regarding the passing of two Charter/Life Members of the Dana Fire Department in 2025.

We sincerely apologize to the families, friends, and our community. It was never our intention for this to occur.

We hold our members—past and present—in the highest regard, and we deeply regret that their passing was not properly acknowledged at the time.

We are taking steps to ensure this does not happen again.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF TRAINING BURN: Dana Fire Department will be conducting a live burn training exercise at 1963 Sugrloaf Rd. tomorrow Wednesday December 10th, 2025 from 9:00am to 5:00pm. This training is essential for our firefighters, it gives real-world experience in a controlled setting with multiple instructors.
Please don’t be alarmed if you see smoke in that area during those times.

Yesterday our crews at Dana Fire Department celebrated a special fire service tradition as we officially welcomed Engine 19 into service. We’re proud to have Engine 19 ready to serve the Dana Fire District and Henderson county!
