Every dollar United Way raises has to be put to work wisely.
This month, our Allocations Committee — a dedicated group of community volunteers — is doing exactly that. They're reviewing grant applications from local nonprofits, weighing community needs data, and making careful decisions about how United Way funding gets distributed to partner agencies across Sumner County.
It's detailed, thoughtful, important work. And it happens every single year because this community deserves to know their generosity is being handled with care.
